20 years of experience
My name is Peter Swanell. I've been a carpenter for 20 years. I love working with people to make their homes what they want them to be. I love solving problems and making homes more liveable. I know all too well that as families change, so too do their demands on their homes and I get a buzz making these evolutions happen. I'm also here to help you maintain the places you love. I service Launceston and surrounds, including Greens Beach, Beauty Point, Beaconsfield, George Town, Perth, and Longford.

Family home, Yarraville
I turned a tired 1970s house into a cosy, inner city home on a tight budget.
Bathroom remodel
I remodelled a huge but underutilised bathroom space to meet the changing needs of a family. In this conversion, a batroom was remodelled and split to create a home office and adjoining bathroom, making better use of existing space, and providing the bathroom with a facelift along the way.
Newstead family home
Together with this family, I transformed a dowdy 1950s cement brick veneer house into an open, light-filled family home. Project included removal of lathe-and-plaster walls, remodelling, insulation, plastering, new kitchen and bathrooms, replacement of old windows with double-glazed wondows, and later addition of a deck.
Launceston Deck
Deck was constructed to add living space to this home. A large slide door was installed from an existing living area to link indoor and outdoor living areas and open up living/kitchen areas creating additional, useful space for this growing family.
